Schuyler Steven Streber

Schuyler Steven Streber, age 41, of Wilmington, passed unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Born in Cincinnati on July 21, 1983, he was the son of Steven R. and Joni ‘Burgess’ Streber.

Schuyler was a high school athlete, playing football and basketball, and was the captain of nearly every team he was on.  He played football from peewee through college, spending 4 years in the NCAA with Wilmington College, prior to his graduation.  An avid sports fan, Schuyler also enjoyed watching movies and shooting guns.  He was a member of the New Vienna Church of Christ and was currently working for D&E Equipment in Wilmington.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Joni Streber and brother, Sage Streber, all of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish his memory is his half-sister, Jodi (Rex) Ashton of Denver, CO; nephews, Trey Ashton and Court Ashton; great-nephew, Trey ‘T2’ Michael Ashton; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Schuyler was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Joellen Steber and Philip and Joan Dawley.

At this time, there will be no services.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with helping the Streber family.
