Roy E. Kingery, Jr., age 67, of South Plymouth, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital.
Born on July 7, 1956, he was the son of the late Roy E. ‘Trapper’ and Lucy Mae (Miller) Kingery, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Holbert Kingery. The two were united in marriage on December 11, 1981.
Roy worked for many years at Palm Harbor, and most recently for Clawson Farms. He loved to tinker and was always keeping busy building something. Driving around and visiting with folks was a favorite pastime of Roy’s.
In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by their children: Roy E. Kingery, III of Brownville, New York and Kendra Kingery of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also left to cherish his memory is his beloved grandson, Louis Dean ‘Louie’ Kingery; sisters: Cindy Kingery and Linda (Jeff) Runk; sisters in-law: Bambi White and Angela Steiner; a host of nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Tyler (Jessica) Kingery; and special great nieces and nephews: William, Lizzie, Jacob and Ally; along with several cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Cleva Haffner and Karen Hall; and his devoted and constant companion, Henry, the Beagle.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 4-7pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5, at 11am. Burial to follow at Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
