W. Jean (Rolfe) Mckenzie

W. Jean Rolfe McKenzie, age 87, of Sabina, passed away at her home on Monday morning, April 9, 2018.

She was born December 13, 1930, in Pickaway County, the daughter of George and Ottie McDaniel Rolfe.

August 10, 1948, Jean married her high school sweetheart, Herbert E. McKenzie.  The two spent 69 3/4 wonderful years together.

Jean was a 1948 graduate of New Vienna High School.

She is survived by her children, Sue (Bobby) Pierson and Vicki (John) Stamm, all of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory is a special nephew, Jim Rolfe and grandchildren: Kelly (Matt) Modlin and Bobbie Sue (Jeff) Walker; great grandchildren: Shyanne, Cherokey, Aiden and Regan; a very special great great grandchild, Sami Hull; along with many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded by a daughter, Connie Jo, on January 3, 2018, and siblings: Quinn, Oletha, Bernice, Betty, Walter and Charles.

Visitation will be on Thursday April 12, 2018 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from Noon until 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery.
