Wilma L. Detty Hodge, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday evening, April 7, 2018, at Autumn Years Nursing Center.
Born October 23, 1932, near Frankfort Ohio, she was the daughter of Fred and Blanche Hudson Detty.
Wilma was a graduate of Circleville High School, worked at the former Allied Technology in quality control, and was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6710, a Past Officer of the Ladies Auxiliary, and a Member of the Sabina Chapter of the Women of the Moose. Wilma enjoyed helping people in every way she could and was a generous donor to many causes.
She is survived by her longtime companion Wendell Padgett, of Wilmington and her children: Ronnie (Donna) Hodge of Louisville, KY, Sharon (Rick) Brooks of Xenia, Glenda (Roger) Ross and Shawn (Jessica) Hodge, all of Wilmington.
Also left to cherish her memory are nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; four step children; Eddie, Danny, Rosie and Sandy; a sister, Julia (Eldon) Eselgroth of Greenfield; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded by a grandchild and siblings: Naomi, Irma Jean and Floyd.
A funeral service will be on Wednesday April 11, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of service. Burial will be in the Clinton Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope.
