William A. "Bill" Howard, 92, of Sabina passed away on Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2016.
Born February 2, 1924 in Greenfield the son of Earl and Annabel Wisecup Howard.
He is survived by his wife Mary K. Howard whom he married June 30, 1945.
Bill was a 1942 graduate of Greenfield High School, after school had worked at Wright Patterson and Rickenbacker AFB making parts for the planes used in WWII. He was a tool and die maker, by trade, working at McPherson and Huff and also Mac Tool. He owned and operated the Howard Machine Shop and retired from Laurel Oaks, where he taught Senior Machine Trades.
He was a twice-past master of the Sabina Masonic Lodge, member of Scottish Rite, Sabina Lions Club, member and trustee of the Sabina United Methodist Church, former East Clinton school board member and member of the International Model T Club.
Bill is also survived by his children, Barbara Jo Briggs and Chuck (Penny) Howard.
Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Kari (Chad) Fentress, Tracy (Kevin) Mathews, Shelley (Jeskee) Zantene, Ryan (Garie) Briggs, Brad (Hope) Howard, Lindsey (Brandon) Hart; great grandchildren; Madison, Grey, Aubrie, Austin, Tabby, Garrett, Hunter, Makenzie, Kody, Kaden, Drew and Demi and great-great grandchild, Kennedy.
Preceded by siblings, Glenn Lee "Fritz", Robert and Ruthanne. And son in law Kenny Briggs.
Friends may call on Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Littleton Funeral Home from 3-7, with Masonic Services at 7pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, at the Sabina United Methodist Church, at 11am. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Sabina UMC or Community Care Hospice.
