Virginia L. Childers, age 70, of Bainbridge, passed away on Monday morning, September 5, 2016.
The daughter of Howard and Lois Ardell Kibbey Hartley, she was born on September 7, 1945 in Sabina. Virginia was a 1963 graduate of Simon Kenton High School and previously worked at Irwin Auger Bit and retired from International Paper.
She is survived by her husband James “Buddy” Childers and children; Shelia Cunningham of Wilmington, Brian (Brooke Carver) Childers and William “Bill” (Maline) Childres all of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory are: grandchildren, Nikki, Kenny, Tasha, William, Robbie, Gabriella and Ashley; several great grandchildren; her siister, Sharon (Richard) Davis of Sabina; sister in law, Phyllis Hartley; and brother in law, Don Saville.
She was preceded by her siblings, JoAnn Saville, Robert and Fredrick Hartley.
Friends may call on Monday at the Littleton Funeral Home from noon until 1:30. A funeral service will be held at 1:30. Cremation will follow the service.
