Therese "Terry" A. (Henges) Stroop

Therese A. “Terry” Stroop, 66 of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday afternoon, February 26, 2023, at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Born April 19, 1956 in Norwood, the daughter of the late William and Mary Rosalie Runnebaum Henges. She is survived by her husband David Stroop and children; Jedidiah “Jay” (Leah) Balon and Elijah “Blu” (Jessica) Balon all of New Vienna, Zachariah “Zach” Balon of Lake Waynoka, Chris (Suzanne) Stroop of Wilmington and Michelle Stroop. Grandchildren; Holden, Joslyn, Madison, Logan, Kinley, Ember, Cecilia, Kennedy, Hudson, Reagan and Serenity. Terry is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded by her siblings, Esther, William, Louie, Charles, Howard and Daniel. After high school she was a lifeguard Cowan lake during summers and then went on to get her bachelors at Chatfield College. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, bluegrass music, animals and drawing. She had retired from Mirac of Lynchburg. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 5, 2023 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. burial will follow at a later date in Sabina Cemetery.
