Thelma Weiss, 94, passed away on Saturday, June 18, at Autumn Years in Sabina.
Born on August 1, 1921, in Xenia, she was the daughter of Thurman and Anna Dillard Hodson.
Thelma was a graduate of Xenia Central High School and later graduated, as a Registered Nurse, from Springfield City Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Weiss, II.
Thelma is survived by her grandchildren, Victoria, Charles Edward, IV, and Joseph, Jr., along with several great grandchildren, brother, Gene Hodson, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded by her sons Charles, III and Joseph Mark Weiss, and brothers, Richard, Paul, Max, and Thurman Hodson, Jr.
Thelma’s family would like to send their sincerest thanks to the caring staff at Autumn Years and the community of Sabina for all their support.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Tuesday, June 21, from 11-Noon, when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at Glenn Haven Cemetery in New Carlisle.
