Thelma M. (Mckay) Hubbard

Thelma M. Hubbard, age 98, of Sabina, passed away on Friday afternoon, March 25, 2022, at St. Catherine’s Care Center.

She was born January 20, 1924, to Herman and Dycie Stephenson McKay, near Peebles Ohio.

Thelma graduated from McClain High School in 1942. She married the late James H. Hubbard on October 21, 1944; he preceded her in death in 1983.

Thelma worked for many years at Irwin Auger Bit, in Wilmington, where she retired. She loved reading, sewing, gardening and painting.  Thelma was a member of the Sabina Friends Church, Colonial Dames, Sabina Historical Society, Clinton County Quilters, Sabina Senior Citizens and Sabina 2000.

Thelma will be dearly missed by her daughter, Nancy Youngs of Newark, New York; one grandchild, Eric Sims and four great grandchildren.

A graveside committal service will be held, at Clinton Memory Garden, on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 1pm.

Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
