Tammy Kay Sweet, age 53, of Sabina, Ohio, passed away in Wilmington, on December 19, 2017, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born on April 30, 1964, in Wilmington, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth Shoemaker.
Allen Sweet, her husband whom she missed terribly, preceded her in 2011. He was the love of her life.
Tammy was an employee of Bob Evans Restaurant and enjoyed shopping, dancing, going to riverboat casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.
Tammy is survived by her daughter, Helizia Haffner; sons: Thomas (Cassy) Shoemaker and Joshua Sweet. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Chanse Leasher, Colton Haffner, and Emalee, Hayden and Lydia Kay Shoemaker; sisters: Mary (John) Bosier, Donna Briggs, Peggy Grooms, Kathy (Ed) Hawkins, and Joyce Dunn; brothers: Bill (Anna) Shoemaker and Jimmy Shoemaker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Tammy’s brothers, Danny and David Shoemaker and sister, Sue Shoemaker also preceded her.
Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home in Sabina on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at the Sabina Cemetery.
