Suzanne S. (South) Lundy

Suzanne S. Lundy, 91, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday evening, November 12, 2018 at Cape May.

She was born December 5, 1926 in Wilmington, the daughter of Thomas C. and Opal Martin South.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer on January 26, 2015. They were married on February 14, 1946.

Suzanne was a graduate of Wilmington High School and attended Miami University. She was a retired teacher and, first and foremost, a mother and homemaker to her six children. Many remember her as an avid walker, with her daily walks around Wilmington.

Suzanne is survived by her children: Joyce (Jim) Atley, Joan Pitzer (Keith, deceased), Jayne (Frank) Paparella, Jan (William) Brooks, Kenneth (Jackie) and Kyle (Parriett) Lundy. Also left with fond memories are 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to Homer, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Martin South.

The family would like to thank Cape May, especially the assisted living area for the love and care they gave, also Hospice of Miami Valley. for their kindness and care through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Ohio Living Cape May for courtyard landscaping or Hospice of Miami Valley.

A private graveside service will be held at the Sugar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
