Steve D. Olds

Steve D. Olds, age 62, of Sabina, passed at The Christ Hospital on Monday, November 4, 2019.

Born in Barberton, Ohio, on May 2, 1957, he was the son of the late Robert F. ‘Pete’ and Lucy M. Cappelli Olds, Sr.

Steve is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Pummell Olds.  The two were united in marriage on June 1, 1983.

Steve was a graduate of East Clinton High School.  He retired, after 30 years, from the state of Ohio, as a Health and Safety Coordinator for the prison system.  Steve served on the East Clinton School Board and was active in Peewee Football and youth basketball.  He attended the Greenfield Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by their children: Steven W. of Sabina, Trent of Hilliard and Elizabeth of Sabina.  Also left to cherish his memory is his granddaughter, Myla Olds-Stewart; and siblings: Virginia McKay of Warren, Bob (Pam) Olds of Mason, Brenda Killiam of Delaware, Andy (Pam) Olds of Maineville, and Maria (Tony) Butcher of Wilmington; sister in-law, Kim Olds of Sabina; along with a host of nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, William ‘Bill’ Olds.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4-7pm.  Funeral services will follow on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Greenfield Church of Christ (955 Jefferson St., Greenfield) at 10:30am.  Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
