Sharon A. (Hartley) Davis

Sharon Ann Davis, age 80, of Sabina, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at her home.

Born April 8, 1943, Sabina, the daughter of Howard and Lois Ardell Kibbey Hartley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard Davis, who passed on May 22, 2022.

A graduate of Sabina High School, Sharon was a cheerleader, on the homecoming court, and played many instruments in the band.  She spent a majority of her life in Reesville.

She had retired from Melvin Stone after many years. She loved working with plants and flowers in her yard.  In her younger years, she developed her green thumb working with her in-laws at Davis Greenhouse. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and knitting.  She was a member of Richland Church in Melvin and served with the Women’s Society of the church.

She is survived by daughters: Kim (Larry) Chance of Sabina and Amy (Tim) Houseman of Clarksville.  Also left to cherish Sharon’s memory are grandchildren: Chelsie (Tim) Mallow, Nikk (Kaley) Mallow, Wesley Wright, Katlin Chance (Josh) Fox, Austin (Kendra) Chance, Andrew Houseman, and Allie Houseman (Seth) Stiverson; son in-law, Kevin Mallow; sister in-law, Phyllis Hartley; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by daughter Juli Mallow, who passed on April 22, 2011; along with siblings: Jo Ann Saville, Virginia Childers, Robert Hartley and Frederick Hartley.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11am – 1pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
