Richard E. Beach, age 83, of Sabina, passed on Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Born on February 20, 1933 in Meigs County, he was the son of Harry R. ad Lidia Smith Beach.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Knapp Beach, in 2006.
Richard retired from Bob and Carl's and was a baker for many years at numerous area bakeries. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Lees Creek United Church of Christ, worked for Civil Service at CCAFB and also retired from Bean Farms, of Lees Creek.
He is survived by his children: Brenda (Tom) Reese of Alexandria, Ohio and Gerald "Jerry" (Kathy) Beach of Sabina. Also, grandchildren: Veronica Reese, Tommy (Whitney) Reese, Jonny Reese, and Seth Cunningham; sister, Oma Nelson of Middleport; and brothers and sister in-law Hershel "Sonny" (Nancy) Knapp, of Sabina and Marlene (Donald) Yeauger of Canal Winchester; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, July 6, at Littleton Funeral Home, where friends can call from 11:30 until time of service. Burial will follow at Sabina Cemetery.
