Richard D. Anders

Richard D. Anders, age 86, of Milledgeville, passed peacefully in Sabina on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Born on September 26, 1934, in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Wilbur, Sr. and Helen Williamson Anders.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Hiser Anders.

For 50 years, Richard has been the owner and operator of Anders Asphalt.  He was also a member of the Dragin' Angels Car Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Peggy Sloan and Nancy Browning, both of Sabina, Rick (Diane) Anders, Glen Anders and Tina (Mike) Lyons, all of Washington Court House.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Amy and John McFadden, Melissa and Carl Fields, Kimberly Yankee, Cheyenne and Larry Mann, Bobby and Laurie Johnson, Paul and Jessica Johnson, Misty Fitzpatrick and Zach Lyons; along with several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and siblings: Wilbur Anders, Jr. and Steve (Brenda) Anders, all of Milledgeville, and Terry (Jackie) Pursley of Sabina.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, Marty Anders and great grandson, Kyle.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Community Care Hospice and a special thanks to his nurses Shannon and Tracey..

Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Littleton Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.  Funeral services will be on Monday, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
