Phillip M. Rolfe

Phillip Michael Rolfe, age 70, of Sabina, passed peacefully at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Born in Columbus on March 14, 1949, he was the son of the late Virginia George Rolfe and Richard Rolfe.

Phil is survived by his wife, Karen Everman Rolfe.  The two have been married seven years, but have spent the last 30 years together.

A 1967 graduate of East Clinton, Phil was in the Air Force Reserves.  He was a lifetime farmer and his favorite pastimes included: hunting, riding around town on his golf cart, and spending time in his garage with friends.

Phil leaves behind daughters: Robyn (Tom) Shultheis of Canal Winchester, and Jeni (Joe) Moore of Machias, ME; son, Chris (Jonda) Rolfe of Sabina; grandchildren: Savanna, Taylor, Luke and Sammy Jo.  Also left to cherish his memory is his brother, John (Anita) Rolfe of Sabina; niece, Jennifer Rolfe Kaehler; nephews: John Rolfe and Jeremy Rolfe; and special friend, Brian Garber.

Memorial contributions, in Phil’s name, are suggested to the Fayette County Humane Society and the National Kidney Foundation.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2019, from 4-8pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
