It is with great sadness that the family of Phillip E. Miller, age 74, of Sabina, announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at home.
Born on September 21, 1945, in Westerville, he was the son of the late George and Shirley ‘Krebs’ Miller.
At a very early age, Phil discovered his love for farming and devoted 40 years to farming locally, in Clinton County. After retirement in 2009, he enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, and supporting his favorite football team and alma mater, The Ohio State University.
He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Phyllis ‘Jordan’ Miller, on May 24, 2015. The two were united in marriage on August 11, 1964.
In addition to his wife, Phil was also preceded in death by his sister, Terry Phleger of London, Ohio and his beautiful graddaughter, Annika Miller, age 17.
He is survived by his son, Keith (Melanie) Miller of South Salem and daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Davis of Sabina. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren, Ashley (Zach) Matson, Amber Patterson, Austin (Branden) Miller, Connor Davis and Caitlin Davis; along with great-grandchildren, Trace Matson, Claire Matson and Alex Patterson.
A gathering of friends and family for a memorial service will be announced at a later date. At his request, no official service will be held. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
