Peggie A Wilson

Peggie A. Wilson, age 76, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Born in Clinton County on April 12, 1945, she was the daughter of Elzie Docter and Hazel Kuhn, and step daughter of Henry Carpenter.

Peggie is survived by her beloved husband, Russell Wilson, Jr.

She retired from being a hairdresser at Fiesta. Peggie was a member of the VFW and the Eagles, both in Wilmington, and a former member of the Women of the Moose.

In addition to her husband, Peggie is survived by children: Daniel (Shannon) Caplinger, Russell, III (Pebbles) Wilson and Kevin (Beth) Wilson.  Also left to cherish her memory is close friend, Patti Settlemyer; grandchildren: Ashley and Andy Caplinger Tira, Casey Caplinger, Russell  Wilson IV , Eric Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Addie Wilson, and Case Wilson; along with one great grandchild, Lincoln Slack Caplinger; and siblings: Jean (Dorsey) Wilson and Louie Docter.

Peggie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Duane Caplinger; and siblings: Don Docter, Joe Docter, Susie Caudill and Jan Hamilton.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Wilmington American Legion, Eagles, and the Sabina Moose Lodge.
