Paul L. Mccandless

Paul L. McCandless, age 64, of Waynesville, passed away on Sunday morning, December 5, 2021, at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Grandview on May 15, 1957, the son of the late John and Pauline Hattie Stewart McCandless.  He was preceded in death by a son, Destry Adam McCandless.

Paul is survived by his wife, Tina Amburgy McCandless, whom he married on September 12, 1986.  Together the built a life and had three children: Cheri (Tyler) Trampler of Wilmington, Megan (Daniel) Walsh of Franklin, and Chad (Allie) McCandless of Kauai, Hawaii.  Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Easton, Graham, Adalynn, and Micaiah Trampler, Nathan Walsh, and Maverick and Nova McCandless; along with siblings: Larry (Michelle) McCandless and Doug (Shelley) McCandless.

Paul was a graduate of Lebanon High School and had retired from Systecon, as a production manager.  He loved anything outdoors - especially hunting, boating, and spending time with his family.  Paul was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington.  His greatest joy was building a life with Tina, whom he loved more than life itself.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Wilmington Bible Baptist Church Missionary Fund.

Family will receive friends at Wilmington Bible Baptist Church on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 4pm - 6pm, when a funeral service will begin.

A private committal service will be at Miami Corwin Cemetery on Friday, December 10, 2021.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
