Paul E. Ellenberger

Paul E. Ellenberger, age 59, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Born in Fayette County on February 25, 1962, he was the son of the late Albert and JoAnn Hilderbrant Ellenberger.

Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Dawn McKinney Ellenberger.

After graduating high school, Paul served in the United States Army.  He then went to work at Pennant Molding as a set-up operator.  Paul was a history buff; he also enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by sons: Justin (Erica) Ellenberger of Urbana and Patrick (Samantha) Ellenberger of Sabina.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandsons: Isaiah, Andrew and Liam; and siblings: Carol Boggs, Dale (Dar) Ellenberger, Greg (Pam) Ellenberger, David (Shawna) Ellenberger, Alberta (Todd) Mann, and Krista (Richard) Crowe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Ginny, Roger, Shirley and Rita.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 11-1pm, when a funeral service will begin, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.  Burial, with military honors, to follow at Sabina Cemetery. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Littleton Funeral Home, to aide the family with final expenses.
