Patricia ‘Pat’ L. Curtis, age 88, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Promedica in Beavercreek. Born September 21, 1934, in Alpena, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lucille Goulet McDonnell. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ Curtis, who passed in September of 2011. After high school, Pat attended The Mercy School of Nursing, where she received her Registered Nurse degree. She retired from Clinton Memorial, where she worked as and RN for 25 years. Pat loved to read and really enjoyed popcorn. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Columbkille in Wilmington. Pat is survived by her children: Shelley (Mark) Dallas, Michael (Becky) Curtis, Charlotte (Mark) Buckley and Sharon (John) Curtis. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Tricia Turner, Marissa (Dan) Watson, Marla (Rod) Dallas, Machael (Scott) Webster, Ryan (Leah) Curtis, Jennifer (Jacob) Buckley- Honeycutt, Corey (Jordan) Buckley, Sean (Kelsey) Curtis, Katie (Brad) Reynolds, and Hannah (Jared) Buckley; along with 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Allen of Ashville, NC. In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret ‘Peggy’ Miranda and granddaughter, Jayme Lyn Curtis Miranda, also two sisters: Dell Lynn and Jackie.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Autism Society of America. Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 4-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Wilmington, burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
