Nora E. (Paris) Roberts

Nora Elizabeth Roberts, age 81, of Sabina, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at home, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Born on March 21, 1939, in Crescentville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Highford James and Mabel Whitacre Paris.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Roberts, who passed on January 26, 2020.  The two were united in marriage on May 19, 1959, and were married for 60 years.

A Harveysburg High School graduate, Nora then continued her education in the nursing program at Fayette Memorial Hospital, where she worked for 12 years.  Following the hospital, Nora then concentrated on her family, becoming a devoted homemaker and raising her children.  She attended Richland United Methodist Church in Melvin.

She is survived by four children: Connie (Joseph Stanforth) Roberts of Sabina, Ronald (Eunjung) Roberts of Virginia, James Kenneth Roberts and Kevin (Anita Garringer) Roberts all of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory are 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and siblings: Doris (Charles) Cannon of Sparta, TN, Norma Backus of Germantown, Patty Rogers of Doyle, TN, Donna (Rick) Schmid of Florida, Charles (Janet) Paris of Leesburg, James (Debbie) Paris of Honeygrove, TX, and Stanley (Angie) Paris of Germantown; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Nora was also preceded in death by her brother, David Wayne Paris.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 2-3pm, when a procession to the cemetery will begin.  A graveside service and burial will follow at Sabina Cemetery.
