Michal E. Moon, age 67, of Sabina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, May 11, 2017, at University of Cincinnati Hospital.
Born August 18, 1949 in Wilmington, the son of Marvin E. and Betty L. Hampton Moon. Mr. Moon preceded in 2010 and Mrs. Moon survives.
Michal is also survived by his wife, Deloris Pence Moon.
A graduate of Wilmington High School, he served in the Marines and then retired from Liberty Lending Services of Wilmington.
Also left to cherish his memory are daughters, Nichole (Rich) Simpkins of Waynesville and Natalie (Luke) Storer of Wilmington; grandchildren: Hayley, Gracen, Isaac, Jayce and Lillian; along with siblings, Kathy (Edward) McCarty and Russell Moon of New Vienna and Tony (Beverly) Moon of Waynesville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion, Post 49, bus fund.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service. Burial will be in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
