Maxie L. (Dehart) Brandenstein

Maxie L. Brandenstein, age 91, of Sabina, passed peacefully at home on Monday, September 30, 2019.

Born in Elliottville, KY on April 25, 1928, she was the daughter of Martin and Cora Kegley DeHart.

Maxie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brandenstein, who passed in 1996.

Maxie worked for The Randall Company, and also worked at the Golden Lamb. She could often be found enjoying a card game with her family.

Maxie is survived by her children: Patricia Sims, Timmie Lee Brandenstein, Terrence Brandenstein, Shawn Brandenstein, Pamela Brandenstein, and Nancy Lewis. Also left to cherish her memory are 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Maxie was preceded in death by a son, Michael Brandenstein, one grandchild, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Community Care Hospice.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 12 Noon – 1pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at Clinton Memory Gardens. After, friends and family are invited to The Cove, at the Sabina Church of Christ, for a time of fellowship and to continue the celebration of her life.
