Maurice E. Adams Sr., age 82, of Leesburg, passed away at his home on Friday morning, January 26, 2024.

Born on March 19, 1941, he was the son of the late Ray Charles and Lillie Mae Adams.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Hamilton Adams, on June 8, 2018.

Maurice was a 1959 New Vienna High School graduate.  He went on to work at Irwin Auger Bit and Candle-lite; retiring from American Showa, as a machinist.  Maurice loved to watch sports and wrestling and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  For 10 years, He was a devoted caregiver to his granddaughter, Danielle.  Maurice attended the Tower of Strength in New Vienna.

He is survived by children: Suzie Beekman, Angie (William) Bressler, Bobbi Lynn (Clint) Brown, and Maurice ‘Marty’ (Christy) Adams, Jr.  Also left to cherish his memory are several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, on the way; along with a host of sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Maurice was preceded in death by son in-law, Mike Beekman; grandchildren: Isaiah and Tiffany Beekman; great-grandson, Richard Brown; and siblings: Neil, Robert, Raven, Victor, Loman ‘Gene’, Faye, Bernice and Richard.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 12 Noon until 2pm, when a celebration of life will take place.
