Mary Olive Taylor, age 95, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Copper Knoll Health and Rehab.

Born on May 20, 1929, in Martinsville, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Irene Fleming Curtis.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce Taylor, who passed in 2011.

For over 20 years, Mary worked in accounts payable for the East Clinton Board of Education.  She was also the clerk for Wayne Township Trustees.  Mary enjoyed playing bridge and loved reading and gardening.  A former member of the Sabina Lions Club and Women’s Fellowship at the Lees Creek United Church of Christ, Mary was named in the Outstanding Women of Clinton County.

She is survived by children: Sherry (Chip Knisley) Taylor Zurface and Gregg (Diane) Taylor, all of Sabina.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Melissa (Jeremy) Rolfe, Kevin (Erin) Zurface, and Keith (Tara) Zurface; along with great grandchildren: Austin, Alexis, Aaron, Owen, Bryce, Lilly, Chelsey, Wyatt and Libby; and nephew, Bill Curtis.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by brothers: Clark Cutis and James Curtis; and great-grandsons: Alexander Zurface and Waylen Zurface.

Visitation, held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, will be on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 12-2pm, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek.
