Mary Ellen (Penwell) Irvin

Mary Ellen Irvin, 82, of Leesburg, passed away on July 6, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Eugene Irvin on January 14, 2004. She was a graduate of Clarksburg High School and had previously worked at J.C. Murphy and Seaway. Mary Ellen had also cleaned houses for many years. She is survived by her sisters; Ruby Hill of Clarksburg, Ruth Murphy of New Holland and Brenda Trainer of Washington C.H. And step children: Donna Jean Hopkins of Cincinnati, Althea Hogsett of Washington C.H., Dan Irvin of Highland and Phil and Randy Irvin both of Leesburg. A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 13, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina is in charge of arrangements.
