Mary Jean (Claybaugh) Henderson

Mary Jean Henderson, age 92, of Wilmington passed away on Sunday February 9, 2025, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Born in the Port William -Jamestown area on September 18,1932, she was the daughter of Carl and Dorothy Scowden Claybaugh.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Max E. Henderson, March 28, 2010.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She and Max had the honors of being King and Queen of the Corn Festival.

Jean is survived by her children: Terri (Tom) Poss of Port Charlotte, FL, Mark (Lisa) Henderson of Martinsville and Michael Henderson of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Staci (Chris) Reiley, Kyle (Joni) Lambcke, and Jeremy Potts; great grandchildren: Tristan Reiley, Lexus Reiley and Kyli Lambcke; along with one brother, Ken (Shirley) Claybaugh of Clarksville.

She was preceded by sisters: June, Betty and Carol.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025, at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
