Mary Lou (Morris) Haines

Mary Lou Haines, age 96, of Sabina, passed away at her daughter’s home in Greenfield on Friday, September 22, 2023.

She was born June 30, 1927, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth Pelkey Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Haines in 1994.

A member of the Catholic church in Wilmington and Greenfield, she had graduated from Hillsboro High School and owned and operated her beauty shop in Sabina, drove a school bus for East Clinton Schools and retired as a supervisor for Allied Technology.

Her children surviving are Michelle Haines of Sabina and Mary Lynn (Richard) Burnett of Greenfield. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: David, Dominick, Tara, Leah and Abigal, several grandchildren and one great grandchild and her sister-in-law, Emily Morris.

In addition to her husband Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son Michael, grandson, Aaron and siblings, Virginia Rose Rolfe and David Morris.

Mary Lou has bequeathed her body to the University of Cincinnati Medical School. Interment will be in the Sabina Cemetery.  There will be a memorial mass at St. Mary's Church on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Noon.
