Martha B. Miley, a life-long resident of the Bowersville area, went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Born on January 13, 1923 in Milledgeville, Ohio, Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Edna Bock; her husband, Dean, whom she married in November, 1939; her son, Lee K; two brothers, Gerald and Verner Bock and a sister, Hazel. She is survived by her daughter, Mardene (Bob) Cosgray of McConnelsville, Ohio. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, MaryAnn Miley of Beavercreek, Ohio. Martha was a devoted and loving farm wife who enjoyed caring for and doing things for her family. She was known for making excellent chocolate chip cookies, for her sewing and needlework, and for her piano playing. Martha enjoyed NASCAR and Southern Gospel music, sometimes traveling many miles to see races and/or concerts. Visitation is from noon to 1 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Littleton Funeral Home in Sabina with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville.
