Marilyn Morris Anders, age 80, passed peacefully at her Leesburg home on Tuesday, November 01, 2016.
Born in Hillsboro on February 21, 1936, she was the daughter of Donald and Mary (Staubas) Morris.
A Leesburg High School graduate, Marilyn attended the Columbia College of Missouri. She worked in the Miami Trace School System and was a Greene Township Clerk for 20 years. For over 55 years, Marilyn mentored young children as a 4-H advisor and was inducted into the Highland County Women’s Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, George Anders.
She leaves behind her son, David Anders, as well as three grandsons. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Jont Morris and Don Morris.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Sabina Cemetery.
