Lisa Marie Grooms

Lisa Marie Grooms, age 34, of New Vienna, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

Born in Xenia on March 17, 1985, she was the daughter of the late John Grooms and Peggy Shoemaker Grooms, who survives in Sabina.

Lisa attended Xenia Schools.  She enjoyed watching movies, reading, and spending time with her two girls.

In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her daughters: Destiny and Katie Hall.  Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Joey Layne, Fonda Smith, Tim (Ramee) Grooms, Michael Grooms, Jeanette (Roy Tackett) Layne and Ashley Grooms; several nieces and nephews; her boyfriend, Rommel ‘Grage’ Perrin; lifelong best friend, Kendra Reynolds; and numerous cousins.

In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents: Nancy Grooms and Thomas and Ruth Shoemaker; and aunts: Tammy Sweet and Cathy Hawkins.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Littleton Funeral Home, to aide with final expenses.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 11am – 1pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.  Private burial, at the convenience of the family, will take place at Sabina Cemetery.
