Linda was a very caring, giving, and energetic woman with a very strong aptitude for life. She experienced many challenges in her life and met each one with determination and a positive attitude.  She was an avid tennis, golf, and pickleball player.  She loved her career of thirty-eight years as a School Counselor helping young people achieve success in their lives.  She served as President of the North Carolina Counselor Association, was a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors, the Junior League of Wilmington, a charter member of the North Brunswick Kiwanis Club and a volunteer with the First Tee of Greater Wilmington.  She was also a member of the Cape Fear Country Club where she served on the Golf Activities Committee and as the LGA Tar Heel Representative.

Linda’s greatest love was for her family and friends, and she worked tirelessly to ensure that she enriched their lives.  Her daughter and son-in-law were very special to her. Her grandsons spent a great deal of special time with her during vacations.  They called it “Boot Camp” with Mimi.
