Larry E. Taylor

Larry E. Taylor, age 74, of Sabina, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Bethesda North Hospital.

Born July 16, 1946, the son of Guy Taylor and Louise Huffman Taylor Wical.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Brackney Taylor, on August 20, 2006. The two were united in marriage on July 17,1965.

Larry was a1964 graduate of Sabina High School, where he was affectionally known then, and through out the years, as “Hoss”. He loved reminiscing about playing high school basketball, watching and talking about sports. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and attending the Lebanon Opry. He worked at Mac Tool and, later, at New Sabina Industries.

Larry is survived by his children: Lisa (Tom) Dean of New Vienna and Keith (Katie) Taylor of Sabina. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Emma Dean, Sam (Cynnamon) Dean, Paul Dean, Ashleigh and Braden Taylor and Carson Duggins; great granddaughter, Loraine Dean; and a nephew, Gary Bentley.

In addition to his wife, Larry was also preceded by his sister, Wanda Bentley; niece, Cindy and one grandson.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Sabina Life Squad or the Sabina Police Department.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. A graveside service will follow, at the Sabina Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
