Larry R. Baker

Larry R. Baker, age 69, of Martinsville, passed peacefully at home on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Born in Xenia on February 28, 1953, Larry was one of the thirteen children of Edward Harvey and Ardella Marie (Green) Baker.

Larry was preceded in death by his partner of over 20 years, Elizabeth Seitz.

In his younger years, Larry used to help his father with farming.  As an adult, he worked for the City of Wilmington in the sanitation department.  Larry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a huge football fan.  He was an avid fisherman and could often be found on a pond bank, fishing pole in hand, before the sun was up.

Left to cherish his memory are Elizabeth’s children: Kathryn (Kevin) Moore of Martinsville, Sarah Sizemore, Justin Sizemore and Allen Sizemore, all of Sabina, and Jason Sizemore of Cincinnati; fifteen grandchildren, who Larry adored; his brother, Raymond Baker of Wilmington; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Judy, Leola, Mary Alma, Marie, Shirley, Albert Sr., Roger, Charles, James and Edward.

Services for Larry will remain private.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
