Kenneth R. Yahn, age 77, of Washington CH, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Born January 5, 1940, in Franklin County, he was the son on Nial and Stella Caudill Yahn.
Kenny worked for 16 years at Matson Floors, worked for Welsh Drainage, and farmed with the Bush Brothers. He was a farmer all his life and retired from ODOT as a mechanic in 2006. Kenny was the founder of Kenny Yahn’s County Knights; they had a weekly show at the Madison County Jamboree and played shows all around the area, as well as Jack’s Country Jam.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ankrom Yahn, whom he married August 7, 1976.
Also surviving are children: Wesley Yahn and Tina (Brian) Anderson all of Washington C.H. and Jeri of Florida, grandchildren: Asia, Leah, and Elias; special friends, Rodger and Tami Sedlmeyer, and their sons, Blaize and Zack; and siblings: David (Debbie) Yahn and Charles (Arby) Yahn; and brother in-law Darrell Ankrom.
He is preceded in death by his son, Keith and sister, Carol Yeazel.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 11am-1pm, when a funeral service will begin
