Judy L. (Swaggerty) Buczkowski

Judy L. Buczkowski, age 83, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at Autumn Years Nursing and Rehabilitation. Early morning on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, the first rays of sunshine called Judy home to be with her beloved husband Jack.

Judy was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 16, 1939, she was the daughter of William and Irene ‘Norvel’ Swaggerty.

Judy and Jack were married in 1967 in Chicago Illinois where they lived for forty years while raising their three sons. Jack preceeded Judy to his heavenly home in 2006.

J.C. Whitney was honored to have Judy in their employment for eighteen years.  Judy’s favorite past time was playing Racko and card games with family and friends. She loved spending time visiting family, taking care of animals in need and enjoying life to its fullest.  Her canine companions and family were dear to her.

She is survived by her three sons: Mike (Tami) Kratochvil of Sabina, Richard (Sharon) Kratochvil of Tampa, Florida, and Brian (Rosannie) Buczkowski of Chillicothe.

Also left behind are grandchildren: Joshua Kratochvil, Jordan Kratochvil, Sarah Kratochvil, Jade Kratochvil, Vincent Buczkowski, Briana Buczkowski, Michelle Kratochvil, Alexa Kratochvil, Karista Hogsett Kratochvil, Michael McCloud Kratochvil, Magdalena Caldwell Kratochvil; many great grandchildren; her siblings: Billy Swaggerty (Pat), Pam Beaver-Hatch (Louie), Cathy Brown (Dave), and Pattie Steadman, all residing in Chicago, IL; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Wednesday June 21, 2023, from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, when a funeral service will begin. Followed by a luncheon at Wilmington Roosters, in their private room.
