Joyce C. (Jones) Elmore

Joyce C, Elmore, 84, of Sabina, passed away on October 31, 2020 at the Autumn Years Nursing Home, Sabina.

Born August 27 1936 in Wilmington, she was the daughter of Gerald and Norma Reeder Jones.

Joyce is survived by her husband Arthur Ray Elmore, whom she marred October 2, 1955.

A 1955 graduate of Kingman High School,  she was a  member of the Sabina Church of Christ.  Joyce loved being a homemaker and taking care of her children. She was also known as "Lady Bug" in the CB world and enjoyed countless hours visiting on the radio.

In addition to Ray, she is also survived by her children:  Brenda (Kipp) Bush of Prosper TX, Karen "Denise" (Jeff) Robinette of Sabina,  Michael (Daphanie) Elmore of Hillsboro,  Mark (Clarissa) Elmore of Mt. Sterling, and Jerry Elmore of Sabina.  Also left to cherish Joyce's memory are several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister, Kathleen "Kitty" (Dale dec.) Gudorf of Beavercreek.

Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie, and son in-law, Jon Stewart, in 1984.  She also had five siblings that preceded her in death.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 10:30 until Noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial will follow in the Clinton Memory Gardens.
