Jodie V. Jones

Jodie V. Jones, age 58, of London, passed peacefully at Arbors West on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Born in Wilmington on February 13, 1965, he was the son of the late Leslie and Mabel Pierrard Jones.

Jodie attended Wilmington schools and worked construction.  He loved working on cars, attending car shows, building things, spending time outdoors, planting flowers, working in his garden, and being with with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved sisters: Barbara (Thomas) Thompson of Wilmington, Charlene (Donnie Lucas) Reedy of Dayton, Cathy (Steve) Jones of Wilmington, and Roshelle (Mark, dec.) Wilson of London; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews; dear friend, Jason Bradshaw and brother in-law, Josh Ellars both of London.

In addition to his parents, Jodie was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Flint Jones, his brother, Jack Jones, and his sister, Patricia Jones.

A visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 12:30 – 1:30pm, when a funeral service will begin.  The family requests that friends dress casually.  Burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
