Heaven welcomed our Guardian Angel, Joan F. Pollard, on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her Father, John Frisby, her Mother, Edna Frisby, and her brother, Don Frisby.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Kim) Pollard, her daughter, Janis (Dean) Wellmeier, her grandchildren, Nicki, Jackie (Clayton), Joe, Jenny, and her great granddaughter, Addy. She also leaves behind extended family and many good friends.
Jo was born October 3, 1930 in Coalton, Ohio and later moved to Sabina, Ohio, graduating with the Class of 1948. She had a strong work ethic and worked many jobs over the years. Jo retired from Fashion Bug in 2013 after 30 years of serving Huber Heights. She loved her family and her pets, always adopting a stray. She also enjoyed taking trips to the casino, the swimming pool, and making peanut butter balls for her family and friends. Jo was often described as the “life of the party”. Jo was the best Mom and Nana that anybody could ever have. You will be forever in our hearts!
A celebration of Jo’s life will be held in Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina on Sunday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sicsa Pet Adoption Center.
