Joan Davis

Joan Davis, age 83, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020.

Born in Jamestown on November 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Cora ‘Stapleton’ Berner.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Davis.

Joan was a devoted homemaker.  She was a member of the former Reesville United Methodist Church and Richland United Methodist Church in Melvin.  Joan was also a member of the Sabina Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her son, David, and his wife, Karen, of Taylorsville, Utah; along with step-daughter, Patty Malloux, of St. Petersburg, Florida.  Also left to cherish her memory is one brother, Gary Berner, of Washington Court House; nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

In addition to her husband, Joan was preceded in death by her siblings; Isabelle Kidd, Eleanor Tillis,  Franklin "Frankie" Willis and   Willis Berner.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Richland United Methodist Church in Melvin.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, February 14, 2020, from 11-12Noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
