Jenny L. (Chesnut) Brooks

Jenny L. Brooks, 81, formerly of Wilmington, departed this life for her eternal home on October 21, 2023.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Born in Wilmington on November 22, 1941, Jenny was the daughter of the late Howard and Lulah Chesnut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brooks.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Mark (Angela) Turner and Susan (Paul) Sarver; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other special family members and friends.

Jenny was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always treasured time spent with family and friends.  Her family will always cherish their memories of time spent with her on the farm during holidays, camping trips, and family gatherings.  She loved nature and animals and provided a loving home to many beloved pets throughout her lifetime. She retired from the Clinton County Highway Department with over 25 years of service.  She was a member of the Crossroads Church in Circleville and was a devoted Christian.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned.  Details to be given at a later date.
