Jannean Thoroman Thompson, age 66, of Washington Court House, passed unexpectedly at Kettering Memorial Medical Center on March 2, 2017.
Jan was born on July 19, 1950, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Frank W. Thoroman and Mildred Herren Thoroman, of Sabina.
She graduated from East Clinton in 1968, from Wilmington College with a degree in Education, and later from Kettering Nursing School, as an RN. Jan enjoyed cooking, entertaining, shopping, gardening, and travels to warmer weather. She was exceptionally creative and artistic and always in pursuit of gaining knowledge. Jan was incredibly caring and generous to the ones she loved.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, Ronald K. Thompson, and their adored Boston Terriers, Izzy, Betty Davis and CeCe. In addition to her mother, also left to cherish her memory are siblings: Patricia (Richard) Lynch of Anchorage, AK and Robert (Rhonda) Thoroman of Palmer, AK; nephews: Josh (Kristi), Jerrod (Jackie), and Jeff (Jennifer) Thoroman; sister in-law, Debra Thoroman; several great nieces and nephews; along with Ron’s daughter, Kris (Matt) Roll and grandsons, Jeffrey and Andrew Roll.
She is preceded in death by her father and her brother, William F. Thoroman.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fayette County Humane Society.
A memorial service will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 11am. Friends may call from 10am until the time of service.
