Janet H. (Houseman) Butterfield

Janet H. Butterfield, age 95, formerly of Sabina, passed peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Winchester Care and Rehab in Canal Winchester.

Born in Jeffersonville on February 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Doris Gragg Houseman.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh W. Butterfield, who passed in 1995.

She previously worked at PNC Bank in the mortgage department.  Janet was a member of the Sabina Historical Society and the Friends of the Sabina Library.

Left to cherish Janet’s memory is her brother, Jospeh Houseman of Maine, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Janet was preceded in death by their infant son, Jerry; sisters: June Moore and Analea Kayer; and brother, Roger Houseman.

Friends may gather for a graveside service at Sabina Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2pm.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
