James "Louie" L. Anders

James “Louie” Anders Sr. age 85, of Sabina, passed away at his home on Friday morning, December 31, 2021.

He was born June 23, 1936, in Reesville, the son of Lee and Madolin Williamson Anders.

Louie was preceded by his wife, Mildred McDonald Anders.

Retired from Melvin Stone, after 46 years, he enjoyed playing euchre every chance he had.  He always faithfully followed the Reds and OSU Football. Louie could daily be found riding his bicycle around Sabina.

He is survived by daughters: Karen (Rick) Mitchell of Vidor TX and Wanda (Joseph) Buckley of Cincinnati. Also left to cherish his memory is a son in law, Danny Pfaff; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; and sister, Dorena (Dan) Dever of Troy, OH.

Louie was preceded in death by twin daughters: Jean Brannon and Jane Pfaff ; son, James L. Anders Jr.; one grandchild and two great grandchildren; siblings: Betty Sheets, Viola Anderson Loren, Homer, Maynard and Hank Anders.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday January 5 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Littleton Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Sabina Cemetery, Sabina.
