James "Jimmy Jack" A. Wood

James A. “Jimmy Jack” Wood, 67 of Washington C.H. passed away on Friday morning March 3, 2023 at his home. Born January 13, 1956 the son of Oliver Cline Wood and Olive Faye Patton Wood Dewey and also the late Burl Dewey. Jimmy Jack is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores Wood. A 1974 East Clinton High School graduate, Jim had enlisted in the Army. Through the years he had been associated with Ralph Long Furniture, Art Huffman Auction House and repaired appliances and furniture. He had retired from maintenance at McDonalds. What he was very well know for was as the manager of Snively’s Pay Lake, he loved to fish at many different pay lakes. Also played cards, listened to music and sitting on his porch watching traffic go by. He is also survived by his daughters; Christina (Zach) Thomas of Leesburg and Jacqueline (Shayne) Wood of Sabina. Also 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. His sister Susan Wood of New Vienna and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be on Tuesday March 7 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00. Burial will be in the South Solon Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
