James 'Coon' F. Conley, age 64, of Port William, passed on May 5, 2019.
Born in Washington Court House on May 10, 1954, he was the son of the late James 'Pete', Jr. and Viola Graham Conley.
After serving in the United States Army during Vietnam, Jim worked as a machinist and truck driver. He could often be found tinkering around in his buildings and fixing just about anything.
Jim leaves behind his wife, Betty Hawkins Conley. Also left to cherish his memory are children: James Conely, Mary Conley-Cassell, William Conley, Johnny Conley, and Charlie Conley; grandchildren: Hezekiah, Jr., Dejanah, Messiah, Dabrianna, Jamarion, James, and Ryan; along with three great grandchildren; and special friends: Robert Oatneal, Melvin Stickle, Timmy Williamson, and Cheryl Smith. Jim is also survived by siblings: Jeffrey (Deborah) Conley, Sally (Don) Greenwood, Vicky (Kevin) Bogan, Tresha (Greg) Brown and Debbie Conley, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin James; son in-law, Hezekiah Rollins, Sr.; daughter, Maria Jane Conley; and brother, Gary W. Conley.
Family and friends will gather at Highlawn Cemetery in Washington Court House, on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 1pm for a graveside service. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
