James Rice

James Rice, 94, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

The son of Charles and Wannie Osborne Rice, he was born on May, 1, 1923, in Johnson County, KY., one of twelve children (six boys and six girls).

James was a janitor for the Yellow Springs School System and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Connie Shattick of Wilmington, OH; Grandchildren: Jackie, Jamie, Shannon, and Travis. Also surviving is a  special friend, Misty Branham of Lynchburg and a brother, Wilbur Rice of Sidney, OH.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 10am - 11am.  Military Honors will take place at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cochran Cemetery, Fayette County.
