James E. Rhoades

James E. Rhoades, age 64, of Gilbert, AZ, passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Born on August 29, 1953, in Washington Court House, he was the son of the late Cecil and Lillie (Brown) Rhoades.

Jim was a 1971 graduate of East Clinton High School.  He enjoyed sports, skiing, playing softball, and was an avid golfer.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Jacqueline Rhoades.  Also left to cherish his memory are sisters: Jeanette Soale, of Wilmington and Donna (Ed) Stevenson; neice, Deanna Stevenson; nephews, Gene (Dionne) Stevenson, Casey Soale, and Robin Soale; great niece, Trish and great nephew, Eric; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, William Rhoades.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.  Jim gave the gift of anatomical donation to the University of Arizona.
