Irvin "Ted" C. Stirr

Irvin C. “Ted” Stirr, age 73, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Bethesda North Hospital.

Born May 10, 1950, in Sabina, the son of David O. and Katherine Lemmings Stirr.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Webb Stirr, whom he married in 1971.

Ted was a 1969 graduate of East Clinton High School and then entered the Navy. He had retired from Wilmington College after 25 years. He was a very faithful Reds and Ohio State sports fan. He always enjoyed hosting many fish frys at his home.

In addition to Donna, he is survived by a son, Tim, and grandchildren: Derek (Lauren Hust) Wilkinson, Brianna (Alex Lynch) Caldwell and Noah Stirr. Also left to cherish his memory is sister, Pam Pendleton and aunt, Teresa Lemmings, also his 6 fur babyies and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Debbie Foose and April Stirr and his brother, David “Jake” Stirr.

A fish fry celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina is in charge of arrangements.
